Rio Stone Building Materials Inc. operates this website and the Rio Stone Building Materials Inc. POS application at pos.riostoneca.com. This policy covers website visitors, customer and order records, rewards, and authorized staff use of the POS, including integrations when enabled. Questions or requests can be sent to info@riostoneca.com.
Quote and contact requests
When you send a request, we use your contact information and project details to respond, price materials, and coordinate pickup or delivery. The form identifies required and optional fields. Do not include payment card details or sensitive personal information in notes.
Drafts on your device
Your quote list is stored in this browser so it is available when you return. A form draft can be stored for the current browsing session to prevent lost work. Shared devices can expose saved drafts; clear the draft or close the session when you finish.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is off until you choose to allow it. When enabled, it measures page visits and actions such as opening a product, calling the yard, using the calculator, and requesting a quote. Contact form text and contact details are not sent as analytics events.
Service providers and outside links
Request processing uses Supabase for storage and Resend for email when these services are connected. A direct email link opens your own email application. Directions and reviews open Google Maps or Yelp under their own privacy terms. The optional yard video is hosted by Imgur and loads when you play it. The storefront does not send your project to an AI chat service.
Customer records, orders, and rewards
We receive information directly from you, from staff assisting you, and from business services connected by an authorized administrator. Depending on the service you use, records can include your name, business name, phone number, email, billing or delivery address, project notes, quotes, purchases, returns, payment references and status, account terms, and rewards activity. We use these records to serve you, arrange deliveries, issue receipts, maintain accounts, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and administer rewards. A phone number helps staff find a customer record; it is not proof of identity or permission to access that record.
Rewards enrollment and marketing preferences are separate. Providing a phone number for an order does not by itself authorize promotional messages. Where messaging is enabled, we use your communication preferences and any required consent. Contact the yard to change those preferences or use the unsubscribe instructions in a message. Necessary order or account communications may still be sent.
QuickBooks Online and payment services
An authorized business administrator may connect QuickBooks Online through Intuit's authorization process. The POS then accesses the company and accounting data permitted by that connection, such as customers, items, accounts, tax settings, and payment methods. Enabled accounting workflows may also exchange invoices, sales, and payment records. We use this information for Rio Stone Building Materials Inc.'s business records, reconciliation, and the requested integration—not for unrelated advertising. Connection credentials are kept on the server; staff do not need your Intuit password. Test connections and disabled features do not authorize live accounting transactions.
When Clover or another payment service is enabled, payment processing is handled by that provider. The POS uses transaction references, amounts, and payment status to track the sale. Do not enter card numbers, security codes, or banking passwords in quote forms or order notes. The administrator can disconnect a connected service in POS integration settings or revoke access with the provider. Disconnecting stops future authorized access through that connection; it does not automatically erase records already needed for accounting, orders, or legal obligations.
Staff access, cookies, and technical information
The POS uses essential cookies for device approval, sign-in sessions, and security. It records staff identifiers, roles, approved-device details, and audit events associated with business actions. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser information, request times, and error logs to deliver and protect the services. Blocking essential cookies can prevent POS access. Website language, quote-list, draft, and analytics choices use browser storage. Clear that storage on a shared device when appropriate.
Online tracking and your choices
This website does not automatically change its settings in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. Optional Google Analytics stays off unless you allow it through Analytics preferences; you can turn it off there later. If enabled, Google may receive browser and usage information and use its own identifiers. Playing externally hosted media or following outside links lets those providers receive technical information under their policies. We do not embed advertising pixels in this storefront. This policy does not grant permission to sell your personal information or use connected accounting data for targeted advertising.
Who receives information
Information is available to authorized Rio Stone Building Materials Inc. staff and service providers supporting hosting, storage, technical maintenance, email, enabled messaging, payments, accounting, or delivery, as needed for those services. We may disclose relevant records to professional advisers, to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect people, accounts, and business rights. Third-party services have their own policies. Our hosting and support may process information outside your state or country, including POS hosting in Finland. This is not a promise that records remain only on devices inside the store.

Delivery text messages and consent
Rio Stone Building Materials Inc. uses your mobile number, delivery details, message history, and consent records to provide the delivery text updates you request. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Giving us a phone number, placing an order, or joining rewards does not itself enroll you in delivery texts. Staff record your permission only after your explicit agreement.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use messaging providers, including Twilio when enabled, to deliver and protect the service. They process the information needed for that service, not for their own marketing. SMS consent does not authorize promotional messages, review-request texts, or another business's messaging program.
Message frequency varies with your scheduled deliveries and service needs. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from delivery texts, or HELP for assistance. Opting out stops delivery texts; it does not cancel your order. Call 951-849-5346 for service or to change your preferences.
Retention and security
We keep information for the business purpose for which it was collected and as needed for accounting, tax, dispute resolution, security, and other legal obligations. Retention depends on the record and applicable requirements; disconnecting an integration is not a deletion request. Records may remain in backups until those copies are replaced or removed. The POS uses access restrictions and protected sign-in and connection credentials, but no service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send passwords or full payment details in a privacy request.
Requests about your information
Email or call the yard to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to ask about privacy choices. Tell us enough to locate the record without sending sensitive credentials. We may verify your identity and, for a business account, your authority. We respond under applicable law; some records must be retained and some rights depend on your location and the law's applicability. Where applicable, you may use an authorized agent and exercise privacy rights without unlawful discrimination. We will explain if we cannot fulfill a request.
Children and policy updates
These business services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it. We post policy changes on this page and update the date above. For material changes requiring additional notice or consent, we will provide that notice or seek consent as required before applying the change.
