These terms govern use of the Rio Stone website and Rio Stone POS application at pos.riostoneca.com, operated by Rio Stone Building Materials ("Rio Stone," "we," or "us"). The application supports authorized business activities such as quotes, orders, customers, inventory, deliveries, rewards, and enabled payment and accounting integrations. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application; contact the yard for assistance by phone or email.
1. Authorized use and limited license
Subject to these terms and your assigned permissions, Rio Stone grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to access and use the application for its intended business purpose. This is permission to use the service, not ownership of its software, content, or branding. Rights not granted remain with their respective owners; third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. Access to staff or administrator functions requires Rio Stone's authorization. Connecting a business account requires authority to act for that business.
2. Accounts, devices, and acceptable use
Use only your assigned access, protect PINs and credentials, lock shared devices when unattended, and promptly report suspected misuse to Rio Stone. Do not bypass security controls, access another person's records without permission, introduce malicious code, interfere with service, or use the application unlawfully. Device approval does not grant every employee administrator privileges. We may restrict or suspend access to protect records, investigate misuse, or when authorization ends.
3. Quotes, transactions, and rewards
Website prices, material calculators, and submitted quote lists help plan a project; a quote request is not a confirmed sale or delivery reservation. Rio Stone must confirm the order, material availability, quantity, applicable taxes, delivery charges, and payment arrangements. Review all transaction details before approving them. Product-sale, refund, delivery, credit-account, and rewards conditions supplied for your transaction or enrollment remain separate; these software terms do not create new discounts, points values, credit rights, or return fees.
4. Connected services and your authorization
An authorized administrator controls connections to services such as Intuit QuickBooks Online and Clover. Enabling a connection authorizes the application's supported access within the permissions granted to it; it does not authorize unrelated actions. Those services are provided under their own terms, availability, fees, and privacy policies. Rio Stone is not Intuit or Clover, and this application is not a substitute for their services. Administrators may disconnect in the POS integration settings or revoke access with the provider. A disconnection does not reverse completed transactions or erase records that must be retained.
Test and sandbox features are for testing only. A test success does not confirm a real payment or accounting entry. Treat a payment as complete only after the relevant provider confirms it, and reconcile records before retrying uncertain operations to avoid duplicates.
5. Your records and privacy
You retain your rights in information you provide. You authorize us to process it as necessary to provide and protect the requested services, as described in the Privacy Policy. Submit accurate information you are entitled to provide. Do not put full card numbers, security codes, passwords, or unrelated sensitive information in free-text fields. Contact Rio Stone for record corrections or privacy requests.
6. Availability, changes, and responsibility
Features may be updated, limited, or unavailable because of maintenance, network or power outages, or third-party issues. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free calculations, offline operation, or automatic synchronization of every record. Keep appropriate business records, verify calculations and accounting results, and use the yard's alternative contact methods during interruptions. Software output is not legal, tax, accounting, or professional construction advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software service is provided as available, without a guarantee that it will meet every particular requirement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or changes a separate written agreement governing a purchase. Contact us promptly about errors so we can investigate and help resolve them.
7. Ending access and updates to these terms
You may stop using the service and ask Rio Stone to close your access. When your authorization ends, your license to access restricted functions ends; record-retention obligations and third-party transactions remain unaffected. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Where a change requires separate notice or acceptance, we will provide or request it. These terms do not themselves authorize Rio Stone or an automated agent to make purchases or financial commitments on your behalf beyond your specific instructions.
