- Compare net weight or volume, package dimensions, liner or closure, pallet pattern, and weather resistance.
- Calculate the handling plan from supplier loadout through jobsite staging and final placement.
Terminology and variants
“Bulk” can mean loose material or large packaged units; name the package type and net quantity rather than relying on the word alone.
When requesting a quote, use the full product name, variant, size or finish, and the unit shown on the record. One informal word can cover materials that behave differently.
Use cautions
Suspended sacks, shifting loads, moisture, torn packaging, and incompatible lifting methods create hazards. Use rated equipment and qualified operators.
